  Our story in Valley Center began in 2000, when Jeanne Miller and her family relocated, and she struggled to find the perfect place to care for her 3 high energy dogs that was more like a home environment than a kennel. So, she decided to open her own facility and Two Paws Up was born.  15 years later, her cage free, home environment provides care to family pets who are now 3rd generation customers. 

In 2015, Jeanne contacted Lori to see if she might be interested in buying her business. Lori & Donny decided to look into Two Paws Up as a possible new location and took positions working for Jeanne.  In February 2016, the purchase was completed! Jeanne's legacy lives on and is doing very well under Lori and Donny's watch.

 Lori Martinez and her brother Don Douglass, along with their exceptional staff, have over 40 years of combined experience with dogs and are committed to providing the same excellent service and love to all of the pets they care for on a daily basis. Their passion and dedication will carry on Jeanne’s legacy, as well as expanding on an already amazing environment.​
