Two Paws Up is not a typical grooming shop. We are a kennel-free boarding and day camp facility that also provides grooming and training to customers that use our services, as well as outside customers who only come for grooming. We provide a less stressful environment for our grooming customers because we do not put the dogs in crates when they arrive. They spend their time free in a large, shaded area that is part of our grooming area, which allows them the ability to go potty if needed, get some water, and just relax.
Our groomer strives to provide a less stressful experience during grooming as well. If she recognizes a dog seems stressed, she will give the dog a break from grooming for a time before finishing. We also use a sling for smaller breeds when trimming legs and feet or trimming nails.
Contact us now to book your grooming appointment. Our groomer will return your call or email within 24 hours.
Jenni has been a dog handler and our trusted van driver for over 7+ years now. She was the backup bather for previous groomers, and over the years she has increased her skills through hands-on experience and learning. She took over as our primary groomer in 2019 and currently manages the grooming schedule for Two Paws Up.
Jenni has a wonderful way with the dogs. She is gentle, fun and pays close attention to each dog while she works on them.
The dogs love her!

By Appointment Only. Grooming is closed on Sundays.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer if the dog's coat is too matted. It is your responsibility to brush your dog at home in between grooming sessions. If you are not capable of doing in-between brushings, we do offer a 15-minute or 30-minute brush out. If you do not do the in-between brushing, your dog will most likely need to be shaved down, or possibly taken to a vet to be sedated or given anesthesia. Please contact your vet to inquire about the best way to handle your dog's needs.
At Two Paws Up Happy Camp for Dogs, we provide personalized attention to each dog in our care. Our dedicated grooming area is designed to be less stressful than a traditional groom shop.
Our groom room is very private so that dogs feel safe and comfortable during their appointments. The room is climate controlled as well.
Not pictured are two big kennel dryers that use room temperature air to dry the dog's coat while they rest in the kennel. The remainder of drying is then completed with a handheld dryer (sitting on the blue table in picture).
Our indoor tub is perfect for all sized dogs. If your dog is older or cannot stand for any length of time, we also have the option to bathe them in the breezeway where they can lie down if needed. We do our best to accommodate each dog's needs as best as we can.
Based on the experts, shaving your double coated dog can cause more harm than good. The only time shaving a dog is recommended is if the dog has a skin issue that needs to be treated, or the coat is so matted due to the dog not being brushed between grooming sessions that it is impossible to brush the matting out without hurting the dog.
Please do your research on your dog's particular breed prior to requesting a groomer shave your dog. Most groomers who are experienced will try to talk you out of it due to the many reasons it's not a good idea. Shaving a double coated dog can also be very traumatic to the dog.
Humans have pores in their skin, dogs do not. Dogs "sweat" through their mouths and their paw pads. Double coated dogs are double coated for a natural reason. We may think they are hotter with a double coat, but it's actually the opposite.
